The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (Department) is providing notice and an opportunity for interested persons to submit written comments, objections, or requests for a hearing regarding the reissuance of a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for the following concentrated animal feeding operation.

Permit Description

The Department proposes to reissue an NPDES permit for an operation located in the SE 1/4, Section 21, Township 16N, Range 10W, Howard County, Nebraska.

The permit would be issued for up to five years and would establish requirements to prevent pollutant discharges and comply with Department regulations. The application includes a nutrient management plan used to develop permit conditions.
