Health Alert Issued for Maple Creek Recreation Area Lake and Rockford Lake

The state has issued a health alert for Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs), also known as toxic blue-green algae, at Maple Creek Recreation Area Lake in Colfax County. A health alert has been extended for Rockford Lake in Gage County.
Cub Creek Lake in Jefferson County has been removed from health alert after being on alert last week.
