According to the data table below, travel on all roads and streets in Nebraska in April 2026 was relatively the same (one million miles) compared to the same month a year ago. April 2026 travel increased 4.3 percent, or 77 million miles, from last month.

April travel was above the five–year average miles of travel and at the upper boundary of the five–year range. Miles traveled in April 2026 were relatively the same number of miles traveled in April 2025 (last year). (Figure 1)
