ONE RED - Residential Pre-Weatherization Program

Concept

The Residential Pre-Weatherization program will address critical repairs in homes that would cause it to be deferred from the Nebraska Weatherization Assistance Program (NeWAP). The program will result in enhanced energy efficiency and air emissions reduction while lowering utility bills and improving health for low-income residents. ONE RED will fund 100% of project costs.

Grant funds will be subawarded to non-profits that administer Nebraska’s Weatherization Program in different geographic areas. The subawardees will determine eligibility based on an energy audit of the home and oversee the repairs and upgrades.

Eligibility

Applicants must be eligible for assistance under Nebraska’s Weatherization Assistance Program.
