Motor Gasoline Consumption
In Nebraska, data for three grades of motor gasoline (regular unleaded, midgrade, and premium) are reported. The data does not include the gallons of gasoline blended with ethanol. The reports on ethanol–blended fuel consumption, the total of motor gasoline consumption and ethanol–blended fuel consumption, and reported miles traveled during the driving season have additional information in relation to motor gasoline consumption.
Annual Data
In 2025, annual gasoline consumption of 136,219,482 gallons was less than one percent (0.11%) lower than the 136,373,249 gallons consumed in 2024. (Figure 1)
Monthly Data
Monthly consumption in December of 2025 was above the five–year average, above December 2024's (last year's) consumption, and above the five–year range. (Figure 2)
